Pre-settlement funding provides cash to a plaintiff in a lawsuit before their case is resolved by a court decision or settlement, or for those whose cases have been resolved but have yet to receive payments. The advances we make are non-recourse; they only have to be paid back if the case resolves successfully.

Q. Are there any upfront fees?
A. No, there are no upfront fees. Once an advance is approved, we thoroughly explain finance charges and the contract. No payments are collected until the case is settled successfully.
Q. How and when will I receive the advance on my case?
A. Once Case Advances approves an advance on a case, and the contract is completed, we can hand deliver a check, mail a check or wire funds to a bank account of your choice. We are also able to overnight checks if time is of the essence.
Q. Is my attorney involved in this transaction?
No, advances are made strictly on the merits of a particular case, and is between the plaintiff and Case Advances. With your permission, we do review the merits of the case with your attorney. We then periodically check in with you and your attorney to get updates on the status of the case.
Q. If I lose my case, do I still have to repay the advance?
A. No, we are a non-recourse firm. Therefore, if you do not win or settle your case, you do not have to repay the advance.
